Welcome to St. John's Basketeers

I recently read a very inspiring article in the Montreal Gazette about the Montreal chapter of Basketeers. As a Social Work student I have recognized the importance of helping vulnerable individuals in society.

During a recent field placement, I had the opportunity to be introduced to numerous agencies that strive to help improve the lives of individuals who face daily challenges. Basketeers is an excellent program that is able to help these individuals face their daily struggles and also allow them to bring about change in their lives. With the help of the community,

I am confident that this chapter will have a significant impact on the lives of those we reach out to.
