Welcome to Thunder Bay Basketeers

While all our lives have been impacted by COVID-19, the effects have been especially harmful for women experiencing domestic violence. Economic stress, life pressures and general anxiety are escalating abusive behaviours and causing more women to be fearful for their lives and the lives of their children.

Our local shelters are continuing to keep women and children safe during this pandemic while helping them rebuild lives that are free from violence and abuse. Unfortunately, many of their fundraising events have been cancelled and they need our help now more than ever. 

You can help by participating in our Basketeers campaign! 

There are several ways to contribute this year:

1) Donate a basket! Go to   to register a basket and get a 20% off coupon for Basketeers purchases and or drop off baskets at 1141 Barton St, Thunder Bay, ON, P7B 7B9.

2) Make a donation online! https://royallepage.myetap.org/fundraiser/Basketeers2021/

The Basketeers committee will purchase gift cards, assemble them as gift bundles and wrap them beautifully. Our local shelters will gift the bundles to women transitioning from a shelter to their new home.

3) Mail or drop off a cheque payable to Royal LePage Shelter Foundation for gift certificate purchase or to Royal LePage Lannon Realty for purchases of basket items to 1141 Barton St, Thunder Bay, ON P7B 5N3 **tax receipts will not be issued for cheques made out to purchase basket items***

4) Mail or drop off unused Gift Certificates to 1141 Barton St, Thunder Bay, ON P7B 5N3
**TAX RECEIPTS WILL NOT BE ISSUED FOR GIFT CERTIFICATES THAT ARE ALREADY PURCHASED**
